Organic Grape Seed oil contains Oligomeric Procyanthocyanidin (OPC) an extremely potent antioxidant. It is also rich in Beta Carotene and vitamins D, C and E. This combination of vitamins and antioxidants make Grape Seed oil excellent in anti-wrinkle formulations as well as helping to reduce the appearance of scar tissue, including that caused by severe acne.
Grape Seed oil also helps in promoting the healing of wounded skin.
It is very moisturising due to the high Linoleic Acid content and glides well on the skin.
One of the few oils that is cholesterol free. It contains linoleic acid (a polyunsaturated fat) and some vitamin E.
It is a gentle emollient, leaving the skin with a satin finish without feeling greasy.
- Jojoba – forms a transparent, protective film on the skin which slows down water loss; it has a chemical makeup very similar to sebum so allows the pores to expel blackheads and excessive oil.
- Grapefruit – acne, oily skin, tones skin and tissues.
- Mandarin – congested skin, useful on scars, stretch marks, spots and a good skin toner.
- Nutmeg – muscular aches and pains.
